Carcinoma of the penis is a rare malignancy, which by
its location brings consequences seriously affected the
quality of life of patients, causes both physical,
psychological and sexual harm, so prevention is very
important. Accumulating evidence has suggested that
male circumcision could be considered as an important
intervention measure to prevent the incidence of this
disease. The objective was to determine the protection
against carcinoma of the penis after performing
circumcision, based on a literature review.
